Trophy Vine

The other day I cut the vines away from a tall London Plane tree that stands out in the back yard here, and I took care to save as much of the main trunk as possible, all in one piece. Here it is, leaning against the house. I didn't measure the thing, but I guess it's around 25 feet tall. The vine may not serve as a home for ants anymore, but it will have a second life (however long it may last) as my trophy.

That's all I could think of for today's blip, after I forgot to get a shot of our local Tool Library where I borrowed a few things in the evening. Next time for sure!
