Textures and filters

I've been inspired and greatly impressed by the other photographers in this community, one of whom is Leo's offerings who's journal is a delight to peruse.

He has been extolling the virtues of textures from Shadowhouse Creations so I thought I would give one a go. Together with a bit if filtering and general tweaking I am getting this type of image.

I am very pleased with the result.

It isn't a patch on others in this community and I have a long way to go, but I feel I am raising the bar for myself, slowly but surely.

Wiedly I have been having trouble loading images recently. They appear OK to me, but look wierd in facebook.

Oh well - here is second attempt at loading.
