A beautiful day today. The sun shone on the market and mini festival in the town centre.

In the centre of Letchworth there is a lawned park with fountains and pergola's and things. A popular feature of the New Town design.

It was surprisingly empty - perhaps too early for the youngsters - perhaps they were all at Glasto.

Anyway it's a pleasant open area in the centre of town which gets used for community events and is much appreciated by locals and provides a useful blip when out doing the Saturday shopping (getting the ingredients for Spag Bol and lots of ice cream).
