A Snog You'd "Never Forget"

There was only ever one photo that was going to be uploaded onto here today. Guess where we were this evening?! Great show, though personally I could have done without Robbie Williams, who seemed to be trying to be a cross between Freddie Mercury and Freddie Starr but he lacked the charisma of the former and had none of the comedy of the latter.

I saw Take That in 2009 and thought that nothing would surpass that show - and I didn't think that this one did, but it was still very good indeed. I hadn't intended to come to see this tour as I can't bear Robbie Williams (or could you tell that already?!) but J really likes both Take That and Robbie Williams solo stuff and he asked if we could come to see them. He'd never been to a concert before, so this was his first. He seemed to enjoy it - clapping and dancing to the songs he knew (though he did sit down and look morose during any that he didn't know) - and to keep him company during Robbie Williams set I had to applaud and bop along with J to "Let Me Entertain You" and "Rock DJ" - which I did through gritted teeth it has to be said.

On our way home afterwards, as J slept in the car next to me, I passed the time by wondering which members of Take That I would choose for a game of "Snog, Marry and Avoid". The Avoid one was easy (see above for a clue!). Although the remaining four all give the impression of being lovely lads, I wouldn't choose Mark because he looks too much like a little boy for my taste - if the game was "Snog, Marry, Avoid or Mother" I would choose him to mother. Jason is absolutely beautiful but too elegant and well-groomed for scruffy me, so that leaves Howard and Gary. I think I would marry Gary - I like his sense of humour plus he could write songs about me too. So I would snog Howard - he looks like he could be a bit of a bad boy, so that would be alright for a wee fling!

Here he is then - up on the big screen, my fantasy Take That snog.
