Insch, Aberdeenshire

North for a funeral today. Took the wrong road out of Insch so had to turn and come back into the town, and when I did I saw this in somebody's garden. Well you couldn't miss it really. Thought it was fabulous - even on a dreich morning like this, it was so bright and colourful. Just loving those bird boxes! So I had to stop the car and turn back again to go and take some photos of it. It was sheltered housing I think and there was an elderly lady looking out of the window at me as I parked up and got out of the car. Took some quick snaps before she came out and questioned me - I was already running late and had no time to stop for a potential chat!
