home for a week

after a long drive across my dear state of michigan, my great friend jesse and i arrived at this beautiful little cabin in the woods. just a short hike from the road, but seemingly deep in a vast wilderness. a fellow photographer, jesse was given the opportunity to be the artist-in-residence at the porcupine mountains wilderness state park. a wild area of old-growth forests, rushing streams and waterfalls, lake superior shoreline, pure northern beauty!
