Day 7 - Valognes and D-Day beaches

Last full day in France. Into Valognes to visit the market - a vast improvement on Cherbourg's paltry effort. Umpteen stalls selling everything and anything, with the food stalls especially grabbing our attention. We came away with pungent garlic, tapenade, cider, stinky Camembert and a baguette. Topped up with some saucisson and pate from a nearby charcuterie and we had the makings of the evenings dinner.

From Valognes we headed east to the coast to have some more fresh air and visit our final D-Day sights.
