On Yer Bike!

We took advantage of the nice weather to go cycling in Thetford Forest again.

This time round Elizabeth was much happier. I think part of the reason it was an improvement was that her helmet fit her better, so she was actually able to see around her. Plus she's a bit older and it wasn't so scary.

Afterwards we had a picnic. Elizabeth decided to make friends with a dog, who ate her sandwich! Then she introduced herself to another family. She is such a sociable child.

When we got home, it was still boiling hot, but we had some shade in the garden. Time for the paddling pool! Boy was it fun splashing! And then playing in the sandpit! Playing outside is much fun! Her dolly ended up taking a dip in the pool too (as did mummy's feet!)
