Forest cactus?

This plant was given to me over 15 years ago by a friend who was moving back to America. It has flowered in the past but not for a while and has been in a dark corner. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that it had flower buds on it and moved it to a brighter spot - now look at it!

In my first attempts to blip it today, the background spoilt the shot so I tried it in a few other places - getting enough light and no power sockets etc. is a tricky business as I guess you know. Anyway, I suddenly noticed in one place I tried that there was a photo of Anna, whose plant it was originally, and her children on the wall above so I have added them to the composition!
