Monument Valley
Well, after yesterdays horrendous trek, today had to be a laid back affair. We had a lie in and headed towards Monument Valley.
Monument Valley is a national park and is still home to 12 Navajo families. The Navajo are native Americans whose native tongue was used during World War 2 and was never cracked!
We went on a jeep tour which was a little bumpy, we ran up and down sand dunes which was a little tiring, and we were cooked a traditional Navajo meal of Navajo Tacos! This is fried bread filled with beans, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese with a side portion of Steak!
We then watched traditional dances and heard tales of how the stars got into the sky and why coyotes eyes are yellow! we were then made to dance and me and Jess stole the show with some awesome moves!
We then slept outside under the stars, bit soppy but was amazing! xx
