Totally Misbehaving!
Doesn't that face reveal that Tristan is being a little stinker! Good grief he was a pill at breakfast this morning. He had spent the night with our daughter, his Aunt Dede and Uncle John. She sent me a text to say that whatever we were doing this morning, she'd be glad to bring Tristan and tag along. Keeping him busy and occupied is quite a task for those of us who are used to having a 4-year-old and don't have a well-equipped playground or toybox.
So I returned the text saying that we would be headed to a local restaurant for breakfast because the cleaning lady comes here every other Monday morning and today was the day. So to our delight Dede's daughter, our grandaughter Ashly came to breakfast too.
So once we were all talking and enjoying ourselves, Tristan decided that he wanted to be the center of attention and "misbehaving" is the way to get to center stage. He settled down eventually. Thankfully he didn't do the acting-up for us at meal tables last week at camp.
Even though this photo of him is not very becoming and announcing that our great-grandson was misbehaving is confessing our imperfections, I think someday when this little guy is grown-up and (hopefully) dignified, this will be a fun page to show him.
After breakfast Mr. Fun and I did lots of tasks and then back to the house mid-day to prepare for the carpet cleaners who arrived about 3:30, so now our upstairs master bedroom and the downstairs family room are off-limits with wet carpet. So tonight we'll sleep in the guest room and we've got the three pooches little houses moved to that room too. They were corraled on the back patio all day and still can't quite figure-out what's happening.
I hope to get to back-blipping camp photos soon. Tomorrow at about noon it is my turn again to have Tristan because our daughter has work tomorrow afternoon, so I know I won't be working on photos then.
Thanks for all the "Welcome Back" comments. The Blipfoto community is the friendliest, caring place. Thank you all!
Southern California was fairly hot today (90 degrees).
Good night. Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
