Is that England, Mummy?

We drove to Calais today to catch the ferry to Dover in order to visit family and friends during the summer holidays. We were a little anxious as it's the first time we've done the drive, but it all went like clockwork as it was so easy. The kids were great, especially Olivia as she has been so excited to be visiting her beloved Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, her cousin Amelia and her friend Carys. Dexter wasn't as keen on the drive as he really hates being constrained at the moment, but I'm sure he'll get better. I hope.

It was lovely seeing the White Cliffs of Dover as we approached, although we nearly missed them as we didn't realise that we were so close!
