Anne's Daily Encounters

Coffee time

Early morning the weatherforecast informed us of the early start of rain, hail and thunderstorms - these weather conditions were heard and seen tho' in the morning, but they didn't managed to overtake the present thick warmth that covers like yesterday also today.
Rather than staying indoors, my daughter and I went into town, Delft, where lots of tourists from abroad and students from overseas had taken available seats down town. And so we learned from an architect that his office works with isolation materials produced from sheeps' wool, and yes either it is plain made of white or  dark brown wool - natural the colours and all natural its isolating characteristics like wool isolates a sheep from warmth, cold and humidity.

And sitting outside on a small terrace watching the people go by and in Delft passers by are often students from far away and tourists from far away, so the impression of sitting in Pisa, Bruges or Berlin suddenly daunted to me, but I was with my daughter in neighbouring town of Delft.
