Finals to land...

Saw this paraglider near the start of today's run, landing next to a stone circle, which bizarrely is called the Cockpit. I kid you not.

There were a few others on the southern flank of Ullswater, one of which caught a thermal and was last seen heading towards Haweswater at about 6000'.

I got my paragliding licence about a decade ago, however, after a broken ankle followed by nearly breaking a shoulder, I decided there's nought wrong with terra firma! Still got the wing though... maybe should try again...

Anyways, 7 miles & 950' ascent today, quite a bit less than the bloke on his way to Haweswater and beyond... (or blokess...)
