Bus Stop
Evening all,
A ridiculously early blip from me this evening, i don't know whats come over me.
Have been without the car today so have been ferrying myself around via the medium of public transport, which isn't something i've really had to do consistently for about 15 years or so, and my, how times have changed!!
Last time i had ocassion to travel by bus it was all ripped seats, smelly diesel engines asphyxiating the people on the back seat, causing them to administer incredibly noisy kisses of life to one another (for a suspiciously long time), too noisy frequent flyers telling all and sundry about the state of their piles and the state of the nation, discourteous bus drivers and discouteous passengers, piling shopping on the seat next to them like long lost relatives, and moving them with no good grace when asked to by tired commuters......
but now, well....ok its still the same really, but thats fine, really its not a problem.
This is a photo of my local bus stop/shelter, its not the mystical dewey eyed one of my adolescence, the one that was the launch pad to a big old world, the one of stolen kisses, the one of rendezvous for disaffected youth, the one of planning and what i'll do when i'm older, and the centre of our own little adolescent world, "to laugh and drink and plan our sequels"
its not mine....but its somebodys
evening.
