Lost horizons

Evening all.

Ok, am behind with the blips again, but today i thought i'd try and catch up a bit.

Very wet day today, the m1/m18 was not a fun place to be at dinner time, it'would've been easier to just drive with eyes closed or just get out and swim.

Then got caught in a thunder storm with a student with a steel tipped umbrella, being a gallant type of person i gave her the electrical equipment i was carrying, and opted not to shelter under umbrella...just in case!

Then this evening i went to Tesco to buy a sat nav, having steadfastly refused the onset of technology for a few years we decided it was time to embracethe 2oth century,albeit a little late.

Took the box to the attendant, who disappeared into the bowels of the store for what felt like eternity but was only 10 minutes, then came back and announced with a very shame faced expression that he was very sorry but .......they couldn't locate the Sat Navs!!!!!

I kid you not. Someone,somewhere is taking the albeit scenic pee!!
