Cathays Community Centre Garden

Toddling back from getting my tickets for tomorrow's performance of Penguin Cafe at the newly refurbished Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, I bumped into Swiss Chris who dragged me along for some impromptu gardening. This is the first of the two community gardens with which I'm involved. We've been digging up a barren space and planting veg to supply the caff. What was a dowdy patch of urban grass has been transformed (under the redoubtable leadership of Erica, allotment owner & J G Ballard expert) This is a space that the kids who use the centre have been decorating. We call this bit the Gothic Garden.
