Lake Louise Alberta

Late May in Alberta and it was unseasonably cold. More snow on the mountains than anyone could remember in a long time. We walked the lakeside trail all the way to the end. A lovely day in the mountains however frigid. ;-) Rather than another photo of the famed location I choose one of the shots of the ice on the lake. More common with what I usually post anyway. ;-)

Love this one of the thin frosty covering. Just exposing the pebbly shallows by the edge of the lake.
