Hotter than July

My oh my - what a hot day today. I had a meeting in central London first thing in the morning. It was not very pleasant on the underground.
My son had rowing after school and I went to pick him up. When we got home, we sat on the sofa to watch some tennis. He fell asleep and remained asleep for a long time.
