Calling all Apiarists.

Wandering the town today, for want of other pass-times. Through whatwas Woolworth's (B&G)?, up the stairs = Everest.
The gaffer didn't fancy the return trip so we took the "flat" walk from the top to the inevitable cuppa. On the way out the back there's a huge growth of un-pruned Escallonia, fairly heaving with these beasties.

It's so long since I've seen what I know to be Honey bee that I'm not 100% sure that's what I saw.
