Awakening

My hubby is more sensitive then he likes anyone to think he is. This news about our friend has really hit him hard. More so about the why and the not fairness of it all.

When our friend asked his adult kids to come over. The daughter was bursting at the seems with news of her own shares that she is pregnant. Later that evening she would learn her dad has cancer. :'[ It brings tears to my eyes just to type this.

It just makes me even more certain how precious 'time' spent is, relationships are vital and love needs to abound in our lives. We just don't know how long we have until someone says those words.....
