Sunny morning at the park

One thing about all the rain we've been having this year (17 inches above average for the year so far) is that everything is still looking so green - of course the flip side is that our grass at home is still growing quickly and therefore needs to be cut frequently, whereas usually by this time of year it has slowed down! This was the scene that greeted me in Pioneer Park this morning when I called in for a quick photo walk on my way to the gym to work out - a wonderful bank of yellow flowers against a verdant backdrop. After dinner this evening Roger and I went to pick up our pop-up camper from its storage facility - we have a long weekend coming up so we are going camping. This will be its first outing for the year, so we need to get it up and make sure everything's OK before the weekend.
