Kittens and makeshift rainbows
I have been promising people (one in particular) for some time that one day my blips will be full of kittens, rainbows and churches (or circuses.... both got eight letters so either is worth extra points on Lexulous) but haven't come through. Today I done a makeshit one.
Kitten: Mine, and she is a cat to be precise. You've seen her before and possibly she'll reappear again one day. Rascal, sat here on my gaming footstool* (for the Xbox player who likes to put his feet up). She isn't allowed in my living room, so she is giving me a look of defiance.
Rainbow: Okay so instead of Rainbow I've substituted some special effects in the background. These come courtesy of Annie (I would link but I'm at home and it'll crash. Looks below, and hopefully she'll comment. Go to her blip if you haven't already). I told her I'd only use it once and I've hopefully thrown a twist in as well.
Church: The 'weakest link' if you will. It's in my living room with my red armchair in the background (an armchair procured for nothing from Mums family, which as you'll see later is a theme. I didn't choose the deep maroon colour by the way). I've sat many a time on that armchair praying for a Lincoln goal as I listen to the radio. So it's kinda like my church.....
Happy now dearest B?
In other news I went to Sheffield last night and have been again today. It's a decent drive from here, but our kid is worth the hassle. He came out his op okay, and today he came home: I fetched him. He's in a lot of pain and will suffer for a while yet, but he's walking (slowly obviously) and he will be alright. He was in a really swanky private hospital as well and has come away with a bag full of tramadol. I tried to blag a few caps just for shits and giggles but I figured in the end perhaps I shouldn't. He needs them at the minute.
Thanks as well for the 7 spotlights in a row. I'm happy now, and decided to post late to let someone else have a go in the spotlight :) only fair.
* Not an official licensed product or anything. This is a little green felt covered footstool that opens up into a little storage thing. It's on wheels to. I'm not sure where I acquired such a chintzy piece of genuine early nineties soft furnishing. Probably Mums family. They love that shit.
