Three lonesome pines .....

I was out near Eddleston recce-ing a walk for tomorrow and the trees on the hill grabbed my attention. I liked this view with the contrasting clouds (we've had rain and sun alternating today) and the three pine trees. It's strange how the dead looking one seems to blend in with the cropped field.

It's a very quiet house tonight - home alone again. 'Twas lovely to have visitors.

The dark spot on the right of the photo is often present - should I try to clean my lens or is it something else? Does anyone know? Ta.
