Bright light

The sunlight was so bright this evening highlighting the fine hairs on the buds and stalks of this hardy geranium. I took this shot, it sounds crazy, but this is how I would like to paint in watercolour with the feeling of light and just a touch of colour on the petals - nothing heavy or too definite.

T busy this morning recieving deliveries of fertiliser in great artic lorries. Anything delivered or collected these days is carried in these giants and of course local people do not like it - nor do we but we have a business to run! There is a maximum height and length for the vehicle and if the overhanging trees on the lanes are too low the Council have the right to prune them back or get the owner to do so. The fertiliser today came straight down from somewhere in the north. Last week a branch came crashing down on to a driver's cab which could have killed him but fortunately he wasn't injured. T then went and drove a silage trailer on another farm for a contractor.
