Just a dog day in June...

My little Murphy the Scottie is just not the tenacious terrier that his brother, Angus, is. While Angus is a hunter/gatherer always alert and on watch for any rodent that might pass by the windows, Murphy is only concerned that his belly is full and that I am nearby!

Daughter calls Murphy my baby.

This afternoon has been busy and I have had little time to spend with Murphy. When I came upstairs, I found him snoozing under the bed. Instead of the usual happy, bouncy, silly pup, he merely looked up at me, then flopped his head back down as though totally disinterested!

Dog day, indeed!
