Getting in the spirit of things

Today was the beginning of a long weekend for many in the US. On Monday, we celebrate the birthday of our nation, and today, there were flags, banners, and buntings everywhere. People are really getting into this celebration. Not only are businesses flying red, white, and blue, but many homes are displaying their pride of our nation.

When I saw this pickup truck parked outside of Lowe's this evening, I think his tailgate banner about sums it up! He also had beautiful reditions of the American flag on the doors of the truck, but as I poised the camera to shoot, he began to slowly move away...
