Toots in Solitude

Butterdean Woods

This morning I led the U3A walkers through Butterdean Wood and didn't get us lost.
This is one of some of the poems pinned to trees.
I am getting fonder and fonder of this wood and at the moment it is smelling very sweetly of Honeysuckle which is clambering everywhere and showing off it's beautiful and delicate flowers.
I find it a sad trait in myself that I don't feel comfortable walking alone anywhere which is off the beaten track. I only walk in more public places when I am alone.

Today I collected the keys for Lukes new flat in Haddington. So now theres just all that removal palaver, lists, lists and yet more lists all with tick boxes.
