July is my month

As my mum said this morning. And here is a profusion of classic summer flowers, lobelia.

Yesterday it didn't feel like it was going to be my month - hence a blipabsence. But events today have improved things immeasurably. Hurrah. No, it's not connected to Wimbledon.
