Fresh

Despite the fact that I am still photographing the flowers which festoon my house, I had an incredibly normal day.

I woke up in my own house, I sent my children off to school for the last time this term - Yah. I bought tea - how very boring I know, but I haven't done it in a while and the normality of it was satisfying. I watered the allotment and watched the tennis.

There is nothing interesting or unusual about any of these things, I know. That's what was so re-assuring about the day, nothing happened to knock me sideways or trip me up.

I felt the sun on my back as I weeded and I tasted the freshness of the lettuce, raddish, rocket and new baby potatoes.

The sweetness of life is returning.
