Smoking Kills

This isn't meant to be some sort of pompous message about the wrongs of smoking...if it were, I could rightly be accused of being something of a hypocrite, because of past lapses!

Had a very splendid night tonight, chewing the fat over several beers with friends old and new. Couldn't help notice the ash tray in the middle of the table though, piled high with tab ends. Oh, and one of the chaps laughed, between drags, about how he had lost his voice (he had as well) because of "the pollen". He hoped it wasn't "anything more serious". Hmm...
