Banded demoiselle

Went over to Woods Mill in West Sussex for a dragonfly day with the Sussex Wildlife Trust. Within an hour we had seen white legged damselfly, banded and beautiful demoiselle, azure, blue-tailed, large red and red-eyed damselflies and in the afternoon added scare chaser, common darter, ruddy darter, scarce chaser to the list. I was also really pleased with my images of some white admiral butterflies but, since it was a dragonfly day I thougth I'd post this pair of mating banded demoiselles as these were the first damselflies I learnt to identify a few years ago.
