Edinburgh Castle

Spent the day in Edinburgh Castle. It was really cool! The views of Scotland from all corners of the castle were unreal. There was so much to do and see in the castle. I love hearing stories of the past: the people that used to be there, what homes like this were used for. The castle was literally a village at one time. It must have been so different living in a time period where it was a privilege and sign of wealth to live in a castle. I wish I got to experience that.

All in all, I really enjoyed the castle. The 8 of us took this picture on the way out. We couldn't resist the classic prom shot. Hehe.

Walking back to our hotel down the Royal Mile we did a lot of souvenir shopping and then ended up separating for dinner and going back out afterwards to get night shots of Edinburgh like this one!
