Come up and see me, make me smile

Old rockers never die, they just do festivals!

Went to the Chichester Real Ale & Jazz festival this evening with the OM and our friends Kathy and Derek. On the bill were Alvin Stardust and Steve Harley (with his Cockney Rebels, well, I think only one of the original line up).

Have to say both are a bit before my time but still very good evening, no real ale passed my lips, just Pimms and Thai red curry!

As Alvin only had two hits to our knowledge he filled in the rest of the set with very good rock 'n roll covers. Give him his due he looks unbelievable good for a 69 year old!! He interacted with his audience very well too.

Steve Harley was good but just got on and played his songs with a bit of participation on a couple of songs. And yes, he did do THAT song!
