Backblipped

We made it! :)

Smooth ferry crossing although we forgot about the hour time difference (again!) and I thought I had set the alarm on my phone for 6.30am but of course by the time we got across the channel that was then 7.30am! Only D made it in time for the cooked breakfast! Ho hum.

VERY long journey to our holiday house. 2 sat navs (built in and Tom Tom), a road map and written directions and we still managed to get lost! Had to go the long way round too, to avoid a huge traffic jam on the road to Paris due to an accident (thanks to the trucker who warned us about that when we refueled before leaving Zeebrugge!

Never mind, we all remained in good spirits (ok so I may have sworn more than once got a little stressed) but we got here safely in the end. Pizza's and wine awaited us as the other half of our party had flown and arrived earlier.

And the holiday house has wifi! So will be able to keep track on blip for at least some of the time. :))

This pic was taken from the car as we sped along at 80mph! As well as getting stressed about letting lost, I was also stressed about not getting a blip so decided to snap from the car. Hope to get similar shots but under less stressful conditions.
