Hot!

31 degrees and set to get hotter!!! I am using blip as an excuse to recline in a cool room in an attempt to reduce my glow!

Not done much today other than unpack, eat a leisurely lunch of cold meats, cheese and french bread but that's what I love about the first day of my holiday....that complete guilt free feeling of not having to do anything other than unpack and unwind. Our holiday stretches in front of us so plenty of time to be thinkiing about sightseeing / doing stuff....just not today :))

Holiday house is great. First time we've been this far south (near Chalais / Bergerac) Last 3 years we've been near La Rochelle. Another rural house but the scenery and surroundings are so beautiful. Despite the stress on the last leg of our journey yesterday evening I couldn't help but be gobsmacked at the beauty of the countryside....fields of sunflowers, pretty little farm houses and meadows full of wild flowers.....I am definitely appreciating it more this year now that I am seeing it through the eyes of a blipper!

Almost G & T time :)))) but got a few minutes to have a look though some of your journals first. Now that's dedication for you!
