Lorraine Chase woz 'ere!

My Lovely Other Half has jetted off to visit her family for a few days in the Highlands. This morning I drove her to the hilariously named "London Luton Airport". Overseas readers may not be aware that Luton Airport is in London in the same way as Paris is in Germany.
When we had a few days holiday on the South coast recently we spotted that the airport at Lydd, Kent, is called "London Ashford", due I suppose to it being neither in London, nor Ashford.
Interestingly, the AA Route planner suggests London Luton to London Ashford journey is 116.8 miles.
London is big, but it's not that big!
