Rigging

The new cooling tower at work has been set in place and the crane that lifted it to the roof was dismantled so it could be taken to the next job.
Above is some of the rigging that is used to set-up and ballance the crane before it can make a single lift. The wood is dense enough to distribute weight to a larger area and light enough to be easily positioned under the outriggers of the crane itself. The circles are rubber disks that keep the wood from sliding on uneven surfaces.
