Blanketed in Velvet

These have grown really well in our garden patch this year.

If you've never felt the inside of a broad bean pod you should - its pure velvet.

The novelty wore off somewhere into the 1.5kg of shelled beans though.

Beloved is going to need to make some more of the fabulous warm bacon and broad bean salad.

Does anyone have any other recipe ideas?
