Halloween in mid summer

Today was my walking pal K's "birthday/moving to Japan to teach english" drinks. As we're always busy with Samhuinn on Halloween she decided to have a tradtional halloween themed fancy dress party. Stuck for ideas I resurrected my zombie outfit and lurched along. It was a lovely evening and one of her friends had made her this fantastic pumpkin cake. It smelt great and apparently it tasted great too! The orange icing was flavoured orange and the green icing, lime.

On the way home I scared the life out of some underage drinkers who had been smoking illegal substances. Serves them right if you ask me.
