Waiting for Christine

Today was the beginning of our wonderful holiday! I drove over the mountain--when I got on the west side of Mt Hood (which was absolutely stunning--lots of snow still there), the air was different, the plants are different, the trees are different--it is just lovely.

I got to the hotel, walked to Shari's for dinner, watched the airplanes for a little while, then took the shuttle to the airport and walked around, observing and absorbing the sights and sounds! This picture is near C gate, looking west. It's a bad picture, but it is a good place, and seeing my dear friend Christine walk into the waiting area was WONDERFUL!

We're ready for an adventure!
