Early Morning Walk

This misty morning picture was taken as Christine and I walked along the Columbia River, with Mt. Hood in the background! This walking path is directly under the flight pattern for Portland Airport, so we saw several planes as they approached the airport. I love to watch the planes--how do they stay in the air???

We have had a wonderful day--early morning walk followed by early morning swim! Next on the agenda was a visit to a wonderful yarn shop where I got the pins I needed and Christine bought yarn. We wound thru east Portland to Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Store in Milwaukie where we had a wonderful lunch outside on the patio. Then off to our next hotel where we've already had another swim! Ah, the life on holiday!
