Summer light

This was taken just around the corner from my house and it's not the first time I've photographed the building. The most recent was almost exactly six months ago at about the same time of day and the contrast in the light is very striking.

We had a wonderful time yesterday evening: an excellent meal at our table of ten under plane trees as the sun set in Pézenas, followed by great music - two guitarists (one a singer too) and an accordionist performing songs in French, Occitan and Spanish in an ancient stone-vaulted room. A lovely atmostphere, with the musicians chatting and drinking with the audience in the entr'acte.
