Lady shoes
are all well and good, but darn it, they make my feet hurt!
I am paying the price for not doing the ironing. Follow my logic here.
No ironing.
Late in term.
No ironed trousers (or ones that fit right now).
The ones that fit, I have no ironed shirts that match.
I have to resort to dresses.
Dresses require lady shoes.
Lady shoes have heels.
Therefore, Hebs has burny balls (of her feet!) and slightly numb toes (due to rapid temperature drop this evening).
Must find my girly flat shoes for tomorrow.
Note the stance. Ballet. 3rd position. This is one of my normal feet positions. That, along with that, or 1st position (heels together, 90 degree turn from front for each foot). Anything else feels wrong. One of the prices I pay for years of gymnastics. The consequence - dodgy knees, hips, lower back. Boooooo!
After receiving an email response to something I sent last week, which requires an urgent response from me by close of play tomorrow, I have adopted a new mantra
Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Whether I can stick to my guns, or whether I will give in and respond is another question.
Must go. I need to find my backbone!
