Impending physical assault...
that will be the result of this blip.
I am likely to be punched in the arm or worse still, subjected to a woggling.
For those not in the know, woggling involves Anne pinching the skin under your chin and squeezing it whilst wiggling it from side to side, kind of like adjusting a woggle on a scout's scarf. It is not pleasant and it leaves visible bruising.
It makes me wonder why I have endangered my personal safety by posting this? Living on the edge. Yeah.
Anne, at lunchtime said
"I'm only having two"
She didn't clarify measures...glasses, bottles, litres, boxes?
Anne is fab - but jeepers, you certainly don't mess with her. I have also discovered recently that she is difficult to capture in a photo - she never stops moving. I have ten photos of her - everyone one of them, bar this one, has some sort of weird face going on...I couldn't possibly comment that it might be because she was talking? I chose this photo because it was the only one that wasn't blurred, but also, in my head, I heard her talking to the wine...
"My favourite companion - makes me happy, listens while I talk and never answers back"
Quote of the day....
"Sexual Harassment. Do we have a policy on that?"
"Yes, it is to be encouraged!"
Lovely hour after work. A gathering, to celebrate the positives from our inspection, to take the p*** out of esteemed colleague who would have liked his 50th to have passed without note (we plastered posters up in the pub instead) and to toast of colleague, Geoff, who we lost suddenly in January and who would have been 8 working days from retirement. We had intended to have a 'party' to celebrate his life but, for many concerned, it is still too raw. So instead, a toast, a brief moment of quiet and then back to the business of banter with a group of people who fill my life with mayhem, madness and laughter, hoping that in spirit, our Soulman was watching.
