Burrishoole Abbey

The weather was a bit rainy today so we just walked a few kms to the Abbey and back.
I am relearning the names of a lot of the great diversity of wildflowers that grow in the ditches in the West, common orchid, vetch, meadow sweet, ragged robin, pennywort, hogweed and lots more.
It has been a great, and active trip to an amazing part of our country. I need reminding every now and then about the beauty of home.
Drove back to Wicklow and was home by about 7.30pm. Animals all well thanks to neighbours.
