Monarchs of the glen

Took the car up around Applecross bay and then decided to have a relatively easy walk since it was a bit rainy. We also walked to the Walled Garden and stopped for lunch which served some really tasty snacks. It was great to just wander around the grounds looking at the beautiful flowers in the walled garden.

In the evening we had another fantastic meal at the Inn where we were staying before listening to some amazingly talented musicians in the bar. They ranged from about 14-65 and were staying in the nearby caravan site. Each of them had at least one instrument - fiddles, banjos, accordian, even a whistle and they really made it a special night. What a great way to finish of a lovely break in Scotland.
