Opening up!

These lovely flowers are beginning to open up out front...some kind of aster i think. I wanted to show them with a soft touch to emphasize their lavender delicacy! Enjoy

Our sunshine quickly departed and today is cooler with a misty rain but not enough to deter me from taking the hooligans out to romp. And they were feisty today on the dog paths! When the two of them bounded down the pathways they sounded more like a couple of horses!

Poor good friend...seems to be dealing with a bad bout of gout on one big toe...any helpful suggestions?
