I think this little girl is asking "...but why can't I play Bingo mummy? Why?" lol

I love the fact children continually ask questions often in the face of an exasperated adult who finally answers "Just because!" or "God does it!"

Why? Why? Why? Why? Arrggghhh!

I like it when adults are patient enough to explain why or if they don't know to then find out with them. Isn't that what education should be, asking why & in the process both discovering something new?

I think this is how scientists & philosophers are born they never stop asking "Why!" & it's unfortunate that too many adults do stop asking, too scared of the big questions or believing there's no point in asking as some questions are never answered.

The point is not to stop asking because one day you may find the answer...

...but then it's time to ask why again!

It's a process that should never cease or we end up with the rigid dogmas of certain political or religious ideas which are not to be questioned!

To question is to be human & I think it's part of the reason for us being here.

The journey is the destination! So did you ask why today?

Anyway on a different note I'm thinking of having a no comment day (perhaps not today lol) where if I comment on someone's blip there's no obligation to comment back!

Do you think it's a good idea & would it catch on? It can be difficult some days to keep up with comments so would "No comment Fridays?" be a good idea or am I being daft!
