STS-135
I was going to pop out and try out my newly assembled Blue Peter-style DIY tilt and shift lensbaby.
But then I noticed that the Last Space Shuttle Lift Off Ever was actually going ahead, so I stayed in to watch. With Emma sitting on my lap.
Only when I uploaded from my camera did I realise I had Emma's reflection, mouth gaping wide as Atlantis made it's way into space.
This was I suppose a little like watching the moon landing in 1969. That was the start of an era and today was the end of an era.
I am pleased to say that I was there both times to watch it live on TV. The Apollo landing I watched in black and white, today it was in beautiful HD via NASA TV / Reuters.com.
